General Admissions for master's program

Applicants must meet following 2 conditions.

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (or expected to receive a bachelor's degree before the admissions period of the term the applicant is applying to).
• An Elementary Teacher's Certificate.
  * In case of Pre-school Education, a currently employed pre-school teacher or a staff of pre-school education institute who meets the following conditions can also apply to the master's program.
   1. A bachelor's degree of 4-year-course college or university
   2. A Pre-school Teacher's Certificate

Master's program for SMOE researcher-teachers

Applicants must meet following 3 conditions.

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (or expected to receive a bachelor's degree before the admissions period of the term the applicant is applying to).
• An In-service teacher or a public educational officer who has an Elementary Teacher's Certificate and 5 years or more teaching experience in elementary school.
• A recommendation from the Superintendent of Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education.

Special admissions to master's programs

Applicants must meet following 3 conditions.

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• An In-service teacher or a public educational officer who has an Elementary Teacher's Certificate and 10 years or more teaching experience in elementary school (before the application due date).
• An Elementary Teacher's Certificate.
  * In case of Pre-school Education, a currently employed pre-school teacher or a staff of pre-school education institute who meets the following conditions can also apply to the special admission.
   1. A bachelor's degree of 4-year-course college or university
   2. A Pre-school Teacher's Certificate
   3. 5 years or more teaching experience in pre-school

General Admissions for doctoral programs

No special admissions for doctoral programs

Applicants must meet following 3 conditions.

• A master's degree in a related field of study
• An Elementary Teacher's Certificate
• A in-service teacher or a public education officer who has 5 years or more teaching experience in elementary school.

Special admissions for international students

Only master's programs are applicable to international students.

Applicants with level 4 or higher of TOPIK must meet one of the following conditions

• A foreign national whose parents are both foreign nationals
• completion of at least 16 years of education in foreign countries
  (equivalent to all of elementary, middle, high school and undergraduate)
